Our story is simple – we love tea.

The Chai Cart is a family business, two brothers and their wives, who pair delicious Indian Tea with fantastic service and entertainment.

Our story began at home, where we would all share a perfectly crafted cup of tea, Azra is passionate about creating new recipes and sharing them with those she loves. Each day she’d offer up a new flavour, including Karak, Pink tea, and Ginger, to the delight of the entire family.

Kavita (Azra’s sister-in-law) has a background in marketing and event planning, and joined forces with Azra to create The Chai Cart – simultaneously roping in their willing husbands, Amen and Paz. Now our Masala Tea recipes are shared with guests at weddings and events all over the UK.  The Chai Cart launched in 2020, and in spite of the pandemic, has thrived. We used the lockdown period to continue to work on our recipes, which are now available for purchase right here on our website – bringing you garam tea, delivered directly to your door.
